Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Network Monitor (the "Service"), provided by Lekker CS ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

Network Monitor is software that checks the reachability of network devices you configure (by IP address and port) using the Network Monitor Android app, alerts you when they go offline, and shows the results on a web dashboard. Monitoring runs on the Android device where the app is installed and signed in; results depend on that device being powered on, connected and allowed to run in the background.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account, including by technicians you invite. You may only monitor devices and networks you own or are authorised to monitor.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial of 7 days. No payment details are required. When the trial ends, monitoring and dashboard access pause until you choose a paid plan. Your devices and settings are kept.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Technician seats are billed per seat for the same period as your plan. Changes to your plan or number of seats are charged or credited pro-rata. Prices are shown in US dollars and may exclude applicable taxes, which Paddle calculates at checkout.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing → Manage billing. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to scan, probe or attack networks you are not authorised to access, to break the law, or to interfere with the Service or other users. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Availability and no guarantee

We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that every outage will be detected or alerted, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. The Service is a monitoring aid and does not replace your own procedures for critical systems.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue or data, arising from missed or delayed alerts.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.

10. Contact and governing law
